Community grants

Our Community Grants are dedicated to empowering First Nations communities by supporting projects that are community-driven and led. Our grants aim to foster initiatives that resonate with the core themes integral to cultural connection, identity and community well-being.

  • "Care for Country" emphasizes environmental stewardship and cultural practices that honor traditional knowledge systems of connection, belonging and place.

  • "Healing and wellness" focuses on initiatives that promote physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural health & wellbeing within communities.

  • "Ceremony and protocol" supports the revitalization and practice of traditional customs, practices and ceremonys.

  • "Cultural connectedness" encourages activities that strengthen ties to cultural heritage and identity.

  • "Celebrating community" aims to enhance community spirit and pride through shared experiences, creative means and cultural exchange.

  • "Social and economic inclusion" seeks to improve access to opportunities and resources, ensuring that all community members can thrive. By aligning with these themes, projects can create meaningful impacts in their communities, fostering a vibrant and resilient future.

Our community grants are open to First Nation individuals, community groups and gathering places. Apply for grants between $5K and up to $10k.
